This evening we had a delicious dinner that consisted of salad, bread, egg rolls, veggies, and steak. After supper we had a meeting, and then I am just relaxing the rest of the evening.
Tomorrow we play Fenerbahce at 2:00 p.m. (7:00 a.m. EST). I am excited to get the second round of playoffs under way :). I will let you know how we do tomorrow night!! I hope everyone has been having a great weekend.
Try to get into the House of the Lord tomorrow to worship Him. He is worthy of all of the glory, honor, and praise :)
God bless,
Megan

Now Judas, who betrayed him, knew the place, because Jesus had often met there with his disciples.— John 18:2 (NIV)
Thoughts on Today's Verse...Judas knew where to find Jesus during this intense period of religious preparation. It was no secret that Jesus would be with his disciples in the garden praying together. If we had someone who wanted to betray us, where would that person tell our enemies to find us? Would they know where we would go to be in prayer? Interesting questions aren't they? Can you imagine a better complement than our enemies knowing that they could find us in the place of prayer?
My Utmost For His Highest:
Never allow anything to divert you from your insight into Jesus Christ. It is the true test of whether you are spiritual or not. To be unspiritual means that other things have a growing fascination for you. Since mine eyes have looked on Jesus, I’ve lost sight of all beside, So enchained my spirit’s vision, Gazing on the Crucified.
Our Daily Bread:
Compassion is an inner feeling resulting in outward action. It should be our daily uniform of service (Col. 3:12). By God’s grace, may we be known for it.
Lord, help us be compassionate
To people in their grief;
Then tell them of the love of Christ,
Who’ll bring their souls relief. —Sper
True compassion is love in action.
