How has everyone's Monday been? Mine was pretty good I have to say. I slept in which was nice and then I made some chili for this week. I was able to relax some and then headed off to practice. Today we did lifting and then we did some running and shooting as well as going over the plays. Tomorrow I will be going to the tax office to get that squared away and then I will be going to the bank as well. I wanted to share with you an excerpt from JESUS CALLING today:
"As you go through this day, look for tiny treasures strategically placed along the way. I lovingly go before you and plant little pleasures to brighten your day. Look carefully for them, and pluck them one by one." Jesus Calling
I hope everyone takes the time through the days, weeks, and months ahead to "look for tiny treasures". We can get so caught up in the busyness of life that we don't take time to stop and look. As we approach Thanksgiving may we be reminded to be thankful and live with a thankful heart and attitude. Tomorrow afternoon we will have practice again. On Wednesday we are going to be playing in a friendly game against a 2nd Division team.
I also wanted to say that today marks 6 months of being married to my husband Caleb Leuzinger. It has been an amazing few months of marriage and it is hard to believe that 1/2 a year has already flown by. My heart could not be more full with the many blessings the Lord has graciously seen fit to give me. One of the greatest blessings of my life outside of my relationship with Jesus and my family is Caleb. Caleb has done a tremendous job of striving to love me like Jesus. I look forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for us as we continue our life together serving Him.
God bless,
Megan
