Today has been a super busy day! I woke up thinking I just had one practice and ended up having two. So between practices I took a nap and then this evening I got home around 10:00 p.m. from the second practice. Thankfully I had some leftovers that I could heat up which worked out great!!
Tomorrow we leave at 10:30 a.m. and play a friendly game at 1:00 p.m. Because of the Istanbul traffic we have to leave early because they are expecting it to take an hour and a half.
I am going to relax some and then hit the sack :)!! I must have gotten off on the reading and somehow got ahead, so here is today's reading!!
October 13th
Joshua 18/Matthew 15
Joshua 18 – Joshua orders the remaining tribes to go out and check the land out to see what was left and then it would be divided accordingly. Land is given to the tribe of Benjamin.
Matthew 15 – We are to be careful with what we say. What is in our hearts will come out and we will show the world who we really are. What defiles us is what comes out of our mouth not what we physically eat. Later on in the chapter Jesus shows compassion on the 4,000 people that had been listening to him speak the past 3 days, so he decides to make sure they are fed and a miracle is performed (the food is turned into enough to feed all of the people). How amazing it is to see that the Lord makes sure even the smallest detail or need is met. He may not always deliver when we think is best, but at the right time (His perfect timing) He will!
