This afternoon we practiced at 2:00. We only had one practice today which was nice. Tomorrow we are back to having two practices again! After practice I went to the bank and also went to the store. I decided to boil a whole chicken and use the meat to make chicken salad. I also bought some walnuts and cranberries to put into the salad :). For supper tonight Lyndra fried some chicken and then we also had french fries and salad. The meal tonight was quality...thanks Lyndra!!
After supper I finished making the chicken salad, so I will be able to have it for a couple meals this week!
I want to give a shout out to the Lady Flames! They play their final home game of the season tonight. It is also senior night tonight...congrats Amber!! She is holding down the fort as the lone senior tonight :)

Verses of the day:
Psalm 91:2 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom in I trust.”
Praise be to the Lord that we serve a God who is our fortress and refuge!!
Proverbs 8:33 “Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not ignore it.”
This is a pretty straightforward passage. We are warned to not ignore the Bible. The more and more I grow in my walk with the Lord, the more I yearn to keep learning about Him! We have the most perfect example, that of Jesus, to follow and learn from.
2 Timothy 1:7 “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline.”
This is a great reminder to me, especially while being overseas. Never has the time been greater than now, to share the love of Jesus with those I come in contact with. It is not necessarily going to be through words that we reach people, but it is usually in the quiet subtle acts that people take notice and see there is something different. People observe you and observe me on a daily basis. Can they see Jesus in us? Remember that we are emboldened with power, love, and self-discipline, that ultimately comes from the Lord Jesus Christ.

“WHAT MATTERS MOST”
Point to Ponder: “Life is all about love.”
Bible Verse: Galatians 5:14
“The best use of life is love. The best expression of love is time. The best time to love is now.” p. 128
Have a wonderful rest of the day :)
