So last night Juliana, myself, and another teammate went into the city center and walked around. The picture above is with my friend Juliana. We had fun just walking around a bit. After we walked around for a little bit we went back to the apartment and dropped off stuff from practice. Then it was time to get some supper. Below is a picture of what we had :) SO good!! To finish off the meal we had some cay tea - yum!!
I then stopped by the grocery store with my foreign teammates and then came home. Tonight for dinner I heated up some leftover salmon I had made the other day and made some rice with mushroom and a cream sauce. The pic is below of the meal.
God bless,
Megan
January 15th - "Jesus Calling"
MY FACE IS SHINGING UPON YOU, beaming out Peace that transcends understanding. You are surrounded by a sea of problems, but you are face to Face with Me, your Peace. As long as you focus on Me, you are safe. If you gaze too long at the myriad problems around you, you will sink under the weight of your burdens. When you start to sink, simply call out “Help me, Jesus!” and I will lift you up.
The closer you live to Me, the safer you are. Circumstances around you are undulating, and there are treacherous-looking waves in the distance. Fix your eyes on Me, the One who never changes. By the time those waves reach you, they will have shrunk to proportions of My design. I am always beside you, helping you face today’s waves. The future is a phantom, seeking to spook you. Laugh at the future! Stay close to Me.
