Tomorrow we have one practice at 6:15 p.m. It will be pretty light, since we just played today and play again on Saturday. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far!
God bless!
Verse of the day: Proverbs 9:10-12
“Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment. Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life. If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit. If you scorn wisdom, you will be the one to suffer.”
When we keep what should be most important in our life (Jesus), we are guaranteed to gain wisdom. Who are we “fearing”? Are we seeking the Lord to gain wisdom from him? We can gain so much wisdom from the Lord – more than anyone else in this world. The Lord’s wisdom doesn’t even compare to the smartest person on this earth – pretty cool!
My Utmost For His Highest:
“The nature of sin is not immorality and wrongdoing, but the nature of self-realization which leads us to say, “I am my own god.” This nature may exhibit itself in proper morality or in improper immorality, but it always has a common basis— my claim to my right to myself."
Who or what are we allowing to take precedence in our life before the Lord? We must make sure that the Lord is number one. Regardless of whether we are physically committing a sin, we can be committing a sin by our thoughts. That is why it is important to keep the Lord front and center in our life. He will help us to take captive every single area of our life.
