Today was a good day. I was able to sleep in, clean my apartment and make a meal :)
This evening we had a walk through practice and shooting. After the hour practice I stayed with some of my teammates and we continued doing some individual work.
Tomorrow we play our fourth Polish league game at 5:54 p.m here in Polkowice (11:45 a.m. EST) against Artego. You may be able to watch the game online through the link I gave under "Info on following games".
I will let you know how it goes!!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! It is homecoming weekend at Liberty University. I hope everyone has a wonderful time there.

I was doing some thinking last night and decided to type my thoughts out:
God does not call the qualified, but rather he qualifies the called. We all are going to go through struggles in our life. God has equipped us all with unique talents and abilities that are special to you and to me. We must have confidence in our abilities that the Lord has blessed us with. Some of you might be saying – “Abilities…I don’t have a special ability”. Yes, you do. The Lord placed each and every one of us on this earth for a purpose. For some, you are awesome encouragers, others are great listeners, some are great poets, teachers, preachers, businessmen, singers, writers, and you can fill in the blank.
If you are going through a moment right now, where you aren’t sure where the Lord has you or wants you to be, REST in Him. Rest in the fact that you have a special purpose. Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. I set you apart…”. We have ALL been “set apart” by the Lord to fulfill his unique and individual plan for each of us.
My challenge to you and to me is to push away any distractions that may be keeping us from reaching our full potential. In Hebrews it says, “throw off everything that hinders” (Hebrews 12:1). What are you allowing in your life today to hinder your progress of being all that you can be for the Lord? Remember, God has a SPECIAL plan for you and for me. When we ask the Lord to “Be My Everything”, He will allow us to be everything and then more.

Verse of the day: Proverbs 18:24 There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.
What a great reminder! We are called to build one another up, not tear someone down. When our friends go through tough times, we should be there to help them up when they fall.
My Utmost For His Highest:
“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you . . .” (John 15:7)— that is the way to keep going. Where we are placed is then a matter of indifference to us, because God sovereignly engineers our goings.
Wow!! It doesn’t matter where we are in our life (overseas, or in the States), God is everywhere J. How are we serving the Lord on a daily basis? We are to serve Him wherever we are.
