Made it safe to Georgia! By Georgia I mean the country of Georgia. Us foreigners had to get sports visas in our passports. So, last night we finally left to get them in our passports. They had told us for awhile we would be going, and last night we left. We ended up leaving around 11:00 p.m. at night and got here around 7:30 a.m. (Georgia is 2 hours ahead of Turkey).
I am about to get some sleep, but wanted to write a quick blog. I will write more later tonight when I get back. We went to the Embassy this morning and dropped our passports off...we pick up our passports around 3:30 p.m. and then make the trip back to Samsun. Hopefully we will get in around 10:30 or 11:00 p.m. tonight.
I have taken a few pictures, so I will try to post those later :). I hope everyone has a great day today!
Here is "Jesus Calling" from yesterday:
November 27th
LET THANKFULNESS RULE in your heart. As you thank Me for blessings in your life, a marvelous thing happens. It is as if scales fall off your eyes, enabling you to see more and more of My glorious riches. With your eyes thus opened, you can help yourself to whatever you need from My treasure house. Each time you receive one of My golden gifts, let your thankfulness sing out praises to My Name. “Hallelujahs” are the language of heaven, and they can become the language of your heart.
A life of praise and thankfulness becomes a life filled with miracles. Instead of trying to be in in control, you focus on Me and what I am doing. This is the power of praise: centering your entire being in Me. This is how I created you to live, for I made you in My own image. Enjoy abundant life by overflowing with praise and thankfulness.
Psalm 100:4-5 “Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise.Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.
