First off, check out the song above - awesome!! :)
Today has been a good day. I slept in. I had stayed up later last night to see how my sister Moriah's first night of work went at her new job. The Lord sustained her and she got through okay :) Today Molly works on her first shift, so I am excited to hear from her as well. God has been so good! I am so thankful to have 2 WONDERFUL sisters who are also my best friends. I could not have asked for better sisters that is for sure. Thanks Mol and Mor for being awesome :) Love you girls more than you know!
The Lord has blessed me with so many wonderful people in my life. As I think about the different people I have crossed paths with in each of my locations playing professional basketball, all I can say is "THANKFUL". In San Antonio I connected with a wonderful family who has 6 kids. Wow, what a blessing and inspiration to me to see how the family pursues the Lord and desires to please Him. Thankful for you Franklin family. Then my first year overseas in Ankara the Lord blessed me with a wonderful friend in Catherine as well as some other Americans in the city. My second year in Turkey the Lord brought the Clayton family into my life. My third year overseas in Poland the Lord allowed me to get to know the Thomas family. And now as I am in my fourth year overseas, I am thankful for the LePoint family. Thank you all for allowing me to be apart of your lives.
God is so good. Practice today went well. We had a limited number of people, but we were still able to get some work done on the court. This evening I spent some time with Tanja and Nina. We decided to go out to dinner and then went to Mado for dessert. It was nice to spend some time with them and just hang out and relax.
I hope everyone has a wonderful evening!
God bless,
Megan
January 28th - "Jesus Calling"
I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS. These were the last words I spoke before ascending into heaven. I continue to proclaim this promise to all who will listen. People respond to My continual Presence in various ways. Most Christians accept this teaching as truth but ignore it in their daily living. Some ill-taught or wounded believers fear (and may even resent) My awareness of all they do, say, and think. A few people center their lives around this glorious promise and find themselves blessed beyond all expectations.
When My Presence is the focal point of your consciousness, all the pieces of your life fall into place. As you gaze at Me through the eyes of your heart, you can see the world around you from My perspective. The fact that I am with you makes every moment of your life meaningful.
Matthew 28:20 - Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
