I hope you all have had a great week! If for some reason you haven't, it is the weekend, so you can relax.
We play Odra Bzreg tomorrow at their place at 5:45 p.m. (11:45 EST). I believe you can watch the game if you want to tomorrow, so just click on the link I have under the tab "info on following games".
Today we had a great practice. After practice I came home and thoroughly cleaned my apartment, went to the grocery store and also baked some cookies. This evening I have just been relaxing which has been great.
Tomorrow we have a team lunch at 12:40 p.m. and then we head out to the game shortly after that. I will keep you all posted on how we do. Welcome game #5 of the Polish league.
I have a good friend coming over from the States tomorrow as well. She just left the States, so be praying she makes it here safe and sound :).
I also got to catch up with a great friend today on skype which was awesome. Thank the Lord for technology :).
Verse of the day:
Proverbs 26:28
“A lying tongue hates its victims, and flattering words cause ruin.”
A great reminder that we need to watch what we say. It is important that we are honest at all times. The Bible is clear about being honest.
My Utmost For His Highest
“If we are trying to make Him witness to our reason, it is no wonder that we are in darkness and uncertainty. Throw it all overboard, trust in Him, and He will give you the witness of the Spirit.”
We can never out think God. If we think we can, we are severely misled. If we truly want to be all that we can be we need to “throw it all overboard” and follow the Lord. With the Holy Spirit leading and guiding us, we are set up to succeed rather than fail.
