As I am writing this, I am sipping tea which is YUM :). It is snowing outside, and it is so awesome to see WHITE!!
Today has been a great day. I was able to sleep in, and then I went to a family's house for lunch and hung out with them. I am thankful that the Lord has allowed our paths to cross. It has been so fun getting to know them :) - and having a "home away from home". Thank you!!!
This evening the snow picked up, and it started to come down pretty good. I went into the gym and got some shots up with some of my teammates, and then came home and made some homemade pizza.
Here is a link to some pictures I took: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10100247345819348.2450898.55710205&&l=f9d8c59f66
Verse of the Day:
Ruth replied, "Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God."
--Ruth 1:16
Are we willing to go where the Lord wants us to go? It may involve stepping out of our comfort zone some.
My Utmost For His Highest:
“The call of God is the expression of God’s nature, not ours. God providentially weaves the threads of His call through our lives, and only we can distinguish them. It is the threading of God’s voice directly to us over a certain concern, and it is useless to seek another person’s opinion of it. Our dealings over the call of God should be kept exclusively between ourselves and Him.”
Do we take the time to listen for God? He will lead, guide, and direct us when we do!!
