SO yesterday got away from me. On Saturday night I ended up staying up pretty late to chat with Juli and then we caught up with some mutual friends through skype. It was a lot of fun, but we found ourselves not going to bed until 4 a.m. So, on Sunday we slept in. I slept in until noon and Juliana slept until 2 in the afternoon. Once I woke up I had some chill time to do my quiet time and stuff and then I made breakfast for both of us. The pic above is a picture that Juliana took of the brunch I guess you could call it. We then sat down and listened to the live message from my church back home. Once I get the chance, I will post the notes from it It was a great message on replacing wisdom with anger...so good!!
After we listened to the message, we headed out to Metro (a big grocery store kind of like Sam's Club in the States) with a teammate and we all go stocked up on meat and some other things that you can't always find at some of the smaller stores. I had got some salmon at Metro, so we made salmon last night that turned out awesome along with some squash. We didn't end up eating until around 9:00 p.m. by the time the food was done.
After dinner I caught up with Caleb, my sisters, and my parents. Juliana and I also skyped another mutual friend that we have and talked with here for awhile. The rest of the evening was spent relaxing and talking some. We were able to get to bed earlier last night which was nice.
Today I got to sleep in because the schedule we have been having lately allows for that because we don't have anything in the afternoons. I am about to go pick up a teammate from the airport here in about 45 minutes and then we will head to the gym for practice. We have practice today at 2:30 p.m. which I anticipate to be mainly shooting and a little bit of running. It seems to be a nice day outside today, so I think I will show Juliana around.
Hope everyone has a great week ahead!

TRY TO VIEW EACH DAY as an adventure, carefully planned out by your Guide. Instead of staring into the day that is ahead of you, attempting to program it according to your will, be attentive to ME and to all I have prepared for you. Thank Me for this day of life, recognizing that it is a precious, unrepeatable gift. Trust that I am with you each moment, whether you sense My Presence or not. A thankful, trusting attitude helps you to see events in your life from My perspective.
A life lived close to Me will never be dull or predictable. Expect each day to contain surprises! Resist your tendency to search for the easiest route through the day. Be willing to follow wherever I lead. No matter how steep or treacherous the path before you, the safest place to be is by My side.
"This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24
January 14th - "Jesus Calling"
LET ME BLESS YOU with My grace and Peace. Open your heart and mind to receive all that I have for you. Do not be ashamed of your emptiness. Instead, view it as the optimal condition for being filled with My Peace.
It is easy to touch up your outward appearance, to look as if you have it all together. Your attempts to look good can fool most people. But I see straight through you, into the depths of your being. There is no place for pretense in your relationship with Me. Rejoice in the relief of being fully understood. Talk with Me about your struggles and feelings of inadequacy. Little by little, I will transform your weaknesses into strengths. Remember that your relationship with Me is saturated in grace. Therefore, nothing that you do or don’t do can separate you from My Presence.
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7
