Today was a busy day. We had practice at 12:30 p.m. and then after practice we had a team meal and function at a school. The function consisted of a Q and A session with some students. Unfortunately, because I do not understand the language, I felt like I missed out on a lot of what was going on...but what can you do? I am able to understand more than I can speak, but still most of the talking sounds gibberish to me.
Tomorrow we have lifting in the morning and then we have 1 practice in the afternoon.
I hope everyone has a great rest of the day!! Below is what I cooked for dinner :)

Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior.— Colossians 1:21 (NIV)
Thoughts on Today's Verse...So many people reject God because of the things they do not want to give up for him. They may couch it in an intellectual argument, but quite often they do not want to surrender their will to God because it will mean giving up something they love that is in conflict with the character of God. Many evangelists know that intellectual arguments seldom will win this kind of person to the truth. Instead, they must come to know Jesus and his sacrificial love for them before they are able to realize that God's demand for holiness in them is because he is their ally, not their enemy.
My Utmost For His Highest:
Are you quarrelsome and easily upset over small things? Do you think that no one who is a Christian is ever like that? Paul said they are, and he connected these attitudes with carnality. Is there a truth in the Bible that instantly awakens a spirit of malice or resentment in you? If so, that is proof that you are still carnal. If the process of sanctification is continuing in your life, there will be no trace of that kind of spirit remaining.
Our Daily Bread:
Praise, my soul, the King of heaven,
To His feet thy tribute bring;
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven,
Evermore His praises sing. —Lyte
The heart filled with praise brings pleasure to God.
