Happy Valentines Day to everyone :)!! Although I do not have a "Valentine", the Lord has blessed me with a great family and some awesome friends :). If you are married or in a relationship, I encourage you to show your love to one another! I mean really we need to let our family and friends know on a daily basis how much we love them right?
I am also thankful for the LOVE of Jesus! It amazes me every time I think about how He cares for us when we don't deserve it.
Today was a great day! I slept in some and then I just relaxed until practice. I am enjoying my break from school right now...so nice! We only had one practice today and it wasn't too bad. I walked home after practice and on the way home hit up the grocery store to get some ingredients for dinner. I baked some chicken and cooked some squash...delicious :)
Tomorrow we have a meeting and then practice!
I hope everyone has a great MONDAY :)

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.— Romans 12:9 (NIV)
Thoughts on Today's Verse...Genuine love involves hate. Genuine love means that we hate evil. We detest its creeping into our hearts and ruining our relationships. We abhor its effects on those we love. We are repelled by the eternal destruction it causes in those whose lives are tender, or weak, or wavering. So the very best thing we can do for those we love is to cling to what is good and stay far away from evil and wickedness.
My Utmost For His Highest:
Sometimes God puts us through the experience and discipline of darkness to teach us to hear and obey Him. Song birds are taught to sing in the dark, and God puts us into “the shadow of His hand” until we learn to hear Him (Isaiah 49:2). “Whatever I tell you in the dark. . .”— pay attention when God puts you into darkness, and keep your mouth closed while you are there. Are you in the dark right now in your circumstances, or in your life with God? If so, then remain quiet. If you open your mouth in the dark, you will speak while in the wrong mood— darkness is the time to listen. Don’t talk to other people about it; don’t read books to find out the reason for the darkness; just listen and obey. If you talk to other people, you cannot hear what God is saying. When you are in the dark, listen, and God will give you a very precious message for someone else once you are back in the light.
Our Daily Bread:
Unselfishness, oneness of purpose, and confident trust are the hallmarks of true friendship, especially in our relationship with the Lord. Christ has taken the initiative by giving His life for us and inviting us to know and follow Him.
Have we responded to the Lord Jesus’ invitation of friendship by opening our hearts to Him with nothing held back?
