Just wanted to let you all know that i am doing well. It seems like there is always something to do here in the USA. The Franklin's, a family from Texas came in town on Tuesday. I have been busy catching up with them and playing with their awesome family. They are a family with 6 kids :)
Today I spent the day over at Dr. Farver's (former professor) helping her clean and do little odds and ends around her house. This evening I stopped by the shop at LCA with my dad and then Mol and I watched the premier of "The Potential Inside" at our church tonight and it was really good. After the movie we went to Barnes and Noble a little bit and then headed home to make some chocolate chip cookies :)
Well another day has come and gone! Tomorrow will be another busy day, but a lot of FUN I am sure :) I hope you all have a great weekend ahead.
Megan

Verse of the Day:
Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that."— James 4:14 (NIV)
Thoughts on Today's Verse..."If the Lord wills!" Do you do short term and long range planning? I do. But my planning always has an invisible asterisk: "If Lord, this is your will and your timing." I don't know about you, but God has shown me time and again that if I will be open to him, his timing is always better than my planning. Does that mean I quit planning? Nope. I just plan with prayer, asking for wisdom and the Holy Spirit to help me find God's timing to know and do his will (James 1:5-6 & Ephesians 5:15-18). Life is too short to not plan with prayer and to not walk led by the Spirit!
My Utmost For His Highest:
No power on earth or in hell can conquer the Spirit of God living within the human spirit; it creates an inner invincibility.
Our Daily Bread:
It’s not unusual for any of us to ponder what it will be like when we face our final moments on earth. But those who “die in the Lord” have the certainty that they are “blessed” (Rev. 14:13) and that their death is “precious in the sight of the Lord” (Ps. 116:15).
God fashioned our days even before we existed (Ps. 139:16), and we exist now only because “the breath of the Almighty gives [us] life” (Job 33:4). Though we don’t know how many breaths we have left—we can rest in the knowledge that He does.
God holds our future in His hands
And gives us every breath;
Just knowing that He’s by our side
Allays our fear of death. —Sper
From our first breath to our last, we are in God’s care.
