There was potential that the last game of the season on April 16th, would get moved up, but I found out yesterday that it will not be. So, it looks like I will be getting back into the States on April 17th :)!! I will be able to be home for a few days, then I head down to San Antonio on April 23rd. It is going to be a short break, but it is okay...I will just be glad to be back in the States!!
After the game last night, I went with one of my friends from church to watch "The Passion" movie. We went to a family's apartment from church tow watch it. They had quite the set up with a projector and so it was great! What an incredible movie! It gives you a taste of what the crucifixion was like. I stand AMAZED that Jesus would go through all of that pain and suffering for us...truly amazing! Last night we had a time or prayer after the movie, and one of the people that prayed said, "After watching a movie like this, we become aware of how unaware we are of the pain and struggle that Jesus went through!" If being nailed to the cross wasn't enough (the pain of nails piercing flesh), Jesus endured spitting, pushing, whipping, and hitting! WOW!!
When I got home from the movie, I was going to post a blog, but I developed a headache, so I did not get around to posting yesterday. I went to bed early! Praise the Lord when I woke up today my headache was gone.
Today I have just been relaxing most of the day. I made some cookie dough in the afternoon, and I am going to freeze it, so I can bake it later this week. I promised the girls on my team I would do one more batch of cookies for our last road trip.

Verses of the day:
Psalm 117:2 “For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord.”
I watched “The Passion video last night with some friends from church. What a great example of LOVE!! The movie makes us aware of how unaware we are of how much pain and suffering that Jesus endured on his way to the cross, and also on the cross!

Proverbs 3:3 “Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.”
1 Peter 5:6-7 “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
These are great verses reminding us to rely on the Lord. The Lord promises to take care of us!
“He Arose” song sung by two little boys in church (definitely a must see):
