Verses of the Day:
Psalm 115:1 “Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.”
I immediately thought of a song that has the words “Not to us, but to your name be the glory”…what a great song!

Proverbs 1:32-33 “For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them; but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.”
1 Peter 3:15 “But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.”
I think this is a great reminder to us, to make sure that we are living out our walk with the Lord. People need to see that there is something different about us. True joy comes from the Lord! True hope in Jesus allows us to be steadfast and secure in who we are and whom we believe in! Praise the Lord J!!

The Purpose Driven Life – Day 40
“LIVING WITH PURPOSE”
Point to Ponder: “Living with purpose is the only way to really live.”
Bible Verse: Acts 13:36
Life’s Five Greatest Questions:
1. What will be the center of my life?
a. “Whatever is at the center of your life is your god.” P. 314
b. When God’s at the center, you worship. When he’s not, you worry. Worry is the warning light that God has been shoved to the sideline.”
2. What will be the character of my life?
a. God is far more interested in what you are than what you do.” p. 314
3. What will be contribution of my life?
a. “What will be your ministry in the Body of Christ?” p. 315
4. What will be the communication of my life?
a. “This is the question of your mission to unbelievers. It should include your commitment to share your testimony and the Good News with others. p. 315
b. “Before most unbelievers accept the Bible as credible they want to know that we are credible.” p. 316
5. What will be the community of my life?
a. “The more you mature, the more you will love the Body of Christ and want to sacrifice for it.” p. 316
b. “Focus on God’s purposes for your life, not your plans, since that’s what will last forever.” p. 317
God bless,
