Hey All,
Just wanted to let you know I made it safe and sound home :). My flight was cancelled from Chicago to Roanoke, so I had to catch a flight to Richmond instead. I got into Richmond around midnight Friday night, and then got back to Lynchburg at 2 a.m. Saturday morning. I slept in a little bit, then headed off to watch a softball game at LU. My brother, his wife, and her parents came down from Michigan, so we were able to spend the weekend together with them. We all went to Hibachi Buffet on Saturday night - it is an amazing place to eat (all you can eat Chinese and Japanese food). After dinner we came home and payed some different card games which was a blast. On Sunday, we all went to Thomas Road for church and then came back and feasted on my Dad's homemade pizza. In the afternoon we sat around and talked/relaxed. In the evening some of us headed back to Thomas Road to listen to the Liberty Center for Worship put on a concert. After the concert, we headed to Mister Goodies to get some delicious ice cream. In the evening I watched a little bit of a movie with Moriah before hitting the sack. This morning Moriah and I woke up to see our brother and wife and family off to Michigan. I slept a little bit after that and then woke up for the day. I relaxed this morning, then came home and mowed the yard. It was around 80 degrees here today...super nice! This evening, I went and met up with the Women's Basketball team from Liberty and said hi to them. After that I headed to Sweet Frog (frozen yogurt) with a couple former bball teammates with Molly. We then went and watched a movie with some of them. I am headed to bed here in a little bit. Tomorrow I will be driving to Charlottesville to pick up a family from San Antonio. I am excited to spend a few days with them :)!!!!!!! YAY!! God bless you all. I will continue to write in my blog, but it may not be every day. P.S. I also want to let you all know, that this upcoming season I will be playing for the Washington Mystics in the WNBA. At some point I will update my website so you can check out different links. Megan
