Day #2 of training camp is in the books. I am a little sore after day 2, but things are going well :). With this being my second training camp, I feel like I am more comfortable and have a lot of the plays and different sets and schemes down. I still have a lot to learn, but I know that with each day, I will continue to strive to improve.
Overseas I would go to bed around 2:00 a.m., well now I am in bed by 10:30 p.m. with the lights out. A typical training camp schedule is:
9:15 - 9:45 a.m. - leave for gym
10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - pre-practice
10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. - lift
11:00 a.m. - 1:30 or 2:00 p.m. practice
2:00-3:00 - shooting some after practice, ice tub, and shower
3:00-3:30 p.m. - drive home!
So as you can see, it makes for a long day, but it is training camp so I wouldn't expect anything less.
If you go to the "Home" page you will see that I have made some changes and updated it, so check it out :). There is a link that will take you to our team website. Feel free to check it out everyday, because they update it every day with videos and pictures from practice.

Verse of the Day:
Proverbs 26:14 "As a door turns on its hinges, so a sluggard turns on his bed."
This verse stuck out to me today! I got to thinking about how I am currently in training camp. Training camp is one of the hardest parts of any season. This verse not only applies to our lives physically, but this verse also applies to our lives spiritually. We really in a sense are in training camp every single day of our life! We face our enemy Satan, who is constantly trying to trip us up and deceive us. We need to remain proactive! Do you want to be knows as a "sluggard" or one who works hard and is diligent in using the talents and abilities that the Lord has blessed you with?
