Sorry I wasn't able to post yesterday. We are having some internet problems at my apartment, and trying to get those resolved. I woke up this morning and there was internet, but it has been in and out. Yesterday was a good day. I slept in a little bit and then went and lifted and then went for a run outside. In the afternoon I took a nap and then went to practice. We watched some film on the team we will be playing on Monday as well. After practice we all went to watch the new Hunger Games movie that came out a few days ago...it was really good!!
We have two tough games this week against Ashdod and Ramat Chen. We play on Monday and Wednesday of this week, so not much turnaround, but hey it is okay. I believe both of the games are televised, so if that is the case then I will be sure to post the links and Lord willing they work this time so you all can watch the games if you want to. It is crazy to think we have arrived on the week of Thanksgiving...wow!
We actually have a light practice Thanksgiving morning (after our Wednesday game) and then we are going to Tel Aviv as a team to have a dinner where a chef is going to prepare for all of us the traditional foods...should be fun :)!! Then on Friday I plan on going to meet up with some American's up North and have Thanksgiving with them :) I am looking forward to meeting some new people.
God has been so gracious to me so far while here in Israel. He has allowed me to meet some wonderful people, see some amazing things, and yeah just be able to enjoy myself over these last almost 2 months in Israel...I am grateful and thankful!!!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday! I was able to sleep in this morning and then I will be heading to practice this afternoon :)!!
I wanted to share this with you all from "Our Daily Bread"...I thought it was really good:
God’s timing is perfect in everything. While you are waiting, perhaps wondering why God doesn’t seem to be acting on your behalf, remember that He’s working behind the scenes to prepare His moment of intervention at just the right time. Trust Him. He knows what time it is.
Lord, in Your infinite wisdom and power, You work
behind the scenes to prepare all things for just the
right time. Teach me to wait well and to trust You
to know when the fullness of time has come.
Teach us, O Lord, the disciplines of patience, for to wait is often harder than to work. —Marshall
