I had a wonderful weekend :) I was able to hang out with Lisa, Lesley, and Jen all weekend which was a lot of fun. I went to their place yesterday morning. Lisa and Lesley then went with me on a boat to the European side. We toured the Besiktas area and hung out there for awhile before coming back to the Asian side. In the afternoon we hung out with some Believers from an American Chinese church in Houston which was a lot of fun. It was a blessing to be able to talk with them and one lady asked if she could pray for me and stopped right in the restaurant and prayed for me which was a huge blessing.
Last night I spent the night at my friends house and we made some brownies and watched a movie. It was a lot of fun to be able to spend the weekend with them. I went to church today with Lisa and then in the afternoon I hung out with Jen. Jen hasn't been feeling too well, so please pray for her when you think about it.
Tonight I get to relax some which will be nice. Tomorrow we will say all of our "good-byes" and then Tuesday I fly back home. I will be flying to Chicago first to spend some time with my brother and his wife and my nephew. My husband is also driving up, so it will be great to be greeted by him at the airport. He has not met my 7 month old nephew yet, so I am excited for Lincoln to meet his Uncle Caleb.
Church was great today. The message at my church here in Istanbul was talking about the importance of knowing our calling. I then listened to the message from Thomas Road online live today and the message was about "Leading With Grace".
I would covet your prayers as I make the transition from Turkey back to the States. There is always a little bit of an adjustment period, but I want to thank the Lord for allowing me to have an injury free season. I have so many things to be thankful for that is for sure!
God bless,
Megan
