Today has been a long day! We headed out of Polkowice around 8:30 a.m. and made it to Turkey (to our hotel) at about 4:00 p.m. It is an hour ahead here, so technically Turkey time we got here at 5:00 p.m. We had lunch, because we had not eaten anything the whole trip. I have to say, I was pretty hungry, so thankfully we were served a lot. The meal was tomato soup, salad, pasta, and meat with rice and potatoes.
We are staying at a nice hotel called “The Green Park Hotel”. I was looking at the nightly rates for the hotel and for a single room it is 180 Euros a night, which for those of you who don’t know how that translates into US dollars, it is about $300.00 a night.
We are headed to practice here in a bit!
Tomorrow we play at 8:00 p.m., which is 1:00 p.m. EST.
Here are a few links to try to watch the game with:

From my understanding, one of these links should work! If for some reason there is a change in the game time I will try to let you know. It may be 8:30 p.m. instead of 8:00 p.m. but I am thinking it is 8:00 p.m. (1:00 p.m. your time).
BED time for me :) Gnight!!
Proverbs 22:17-19
“Listen to the words of the wise; apply your heart to my instruction. For it is good to keep these sayings in your heart and always ready on your lips. I am teaching you today—yes, you—so you will trust in the Lord.”
What a great reminder to keep our heart and mind open to what the Lord would have us to do. We always need to be willing and ready to learn.
My Utmost For His Highest
“The key to the missionary’s devotion is that he is attached to nothing and to no one except our Lord Himself. It does not mean simply being detached from the external things surrounding us.”
Isn’t this good? Just a great reminder, that this earth is temporary. We need to be focused on serving the Lord down on this earth, because ultimately everything we do for the Lord is worth it, but everything else we do is not.
