Today has been another great, but busy day. We didn't have practice until 1:00 p.m. today so I woke up earlier and went running. I ran a couple miles and it was nice to enjoy the sun and warmer weather outside. Today at practice we actually played volleyball, so it was a nice little change up for us. We have a long week of practice this week since we don't play until Sunday so I guess coach thought he would do something different. Our coach also will be coaching the U18 Girls Basketball Team this summer, so we will be scrimmaging against them tomorrow instead of practicing. It is crazy to think tomorrow is already Wednesday.
This afternoon after getting back from practice I listened to a message from Thomas Road and wanted to share some notes with you all:
Jonathan Falwell
Thomas Road Baptist Church
March 22, 2015
Mark 14
What it means to go a little further:
1. Pain is a normal part of the journey.
- pain is always the perfect pathway to perfection in our lives.
2. Gods will is always better than our desires.
- mark 14:36
3. Going the distance is the only option.
-are you asleep in your walk with God?
4. Are you willing to go a little farther?
Vs. 35
- when life is falling apart the only place to go is into the presence of God.
"Not my will but yours be done Lord."
I then took a nap and then this evening I have been relaxing which is nice! Tomorrow I will wake up and run again and then we have the friendly game with the U18 team tomorrow afternoon.
God bless,
Megan
