So I just got back from getting my MRI at 8:00 p.m. I left at 5:20 p.m. and got back home at 10:30 p.m. It was an interesting experience to say the least. I got to thinking that I have now had an MRI in 3 different countries...not too many people can say that or probably want to. This one was very interesting I have to say. They had me put my arm back up over my head and started the MRI that way. Well, that was very uncomfortable and so I was praying to the Lord that He would help me to get through it. Fifteen minutes into the MRI they came and told me that they needed to reposition me. So, they pull me out and adjust a few things and then they put me back in the same way. I am in there for another 15 minutes and still very uncomfortable and then they pull me out and tell me that they need to reposition me again. So, this time they put my arm down at my side, but because I am tall I had to turn my body to the side. It was quite interesting, but over an hour later I finally came out alive. The doctor said I will find out Monday at the earliest about the results. I will let you all know when I find out something about my elbow. I am asking that the Lord's will be done through it all.
Today has been a great day. I slept in and then I went to the gym to get a good bike workout in. It feels so good to be able to do some cardio again. After my workout I went to the store. Can I just tell you, I am so thankful that most of the time I have full use of both arms. I had to be quite the sight with a book bag slung over one shoulder, holding a bag in my good arm, and also trying to hold my jacket closed with my good hand because my arm is in a cast and a sling :).
Tomorrow we have another day off, so I will be going to church in Lubin and then hanging out in the afternoon. I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend.
Verse of the Day:
Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all men. He did not need man's testimony about man, for he knew what was in a man.--John 2:24-25
My Utmost For His Highest:
The institutional church’s idea of a servant of God is not at all like Jesus Christ’s idea. His idea is that we serve Him by being the servants of others. Jesus Christ actually “out-socialized” the socialists. He said that in His kingdom the greatest one would be the servant of all (see Matthew 23:11).
