My MRI results are.....well I don't have any news to report actually. The results will be coming in tonight and then tomorrow the trainer will discuss with the doctor and come up with a time frame of how long I will be out. I was originally told that I would find out this afternoon, but one thing I have learned is that overseas has a different time schedule.
An acronym that I learned this past weekend from a family from church is "TINA".

You can say that about a lot of things over here :) I do have to remember that. Sometimes you get told one thing and then something else ends up happening. Or you get told when something will be done, and then it is a day or 2 later. Know that I will keep you informed when I find something out definitively about my elbow :).
The Lord is teaching me patience right now. Well, He is teaching me a lot of things, but most importantly through it all I must keep my eyes on Him. It is so easy to start wondering what is going on, or how long I will be out, etc. The reality is, I don't know, but I serve a God who already knows what is going on. I trust that His perfect plan is being worked out through this whole situation. It was pretty cool because I was able to talk to a few people tonight at the game about the Lord and how His ways are better than ours. I would have never had that opportunity if I was playing on the court as opposed to sitting in the stands.
My Utmost For His Highest:
"We find faith by not only believing what Jesus says, but, even more, by trusting Jesus Himself. If we only look at what He says, we will never believe. Once we see Jesus, the impossible things He does in our lives become as natural as breathing. The agony we suffer is only the result of the deliberate shallowness of our own heart. We won’t believe; we won’t let go by severing the line that secures the boat to the shore— we prefer to worry."
This was great for me! Great reminder that God is in control.
Verse of the Day:
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
Thank you Lord!
