I hope you all are having a relaxing Sunday. I have had a wonderful day. I slept in, because I got back around 1:00 a.m. here and by the time I went to bed it was late. Today I cleaned my apartment. Yes, that means I was down on my hands and knees scrubbing the floors :). I did laundry as well. I then made a run to the grocery store to get a few things.
The rest of the day I have been relaxing. I bought a pumpkin at the store and decided to try my hand at carving it. I then roasted the seeds in salt, pepper, and oil. I snapped a few pictures of my pumpkin, then I boiled it to use the pumpkin. I also made some pumpkin bread from some of the puree that I made.
Here is a link to some pictures I have taken since the beginning of November. The start of the album has a few pictures from our game against Familia Schio in Euroleague. The rest of the pictures are ones that I took today.

I was also able to tune into Thomas Road's message as well as listen to another one. Here are notes to one of the messages I listened to today:

Verse of the Day:
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.— James 1:12 (NIV)
"Thoughts on Today's Verse...I don't know about you, but it is hard for me to appreciate our need to go through trials. In fact, trials in life are just plain hard to tolerate! This is especially true when we are in the middle of them. But as believers in Jesus, we have some key spiritual reasons to persevere under trials. One of the very best reasons to hang in there when things are tough spiritually is God's promise to give us the crown of life that can't be taken away from us."
My Utmost For His Highest:
"To believe is to commit. In the area of intellectual learning I commit myself mentally, and reject anything not related to that belief. In the realm of personal belief I commit myself morally to my convictions and refuse to compromise. But in intimate personal belief I commit myself spiritually to Jesus Christ and make a determination to be dominated by Him alone.
Then, when I stand face to face with Jesus Christ and He says to me, “Do you believe this?” I find that faith is as natural as breathing. And I am staggered when I think how foolish I have been in not trusting Him earlier."
WOW! Are you choosing to be dominated by the world or dominated by the Lord? It is easy to make commitments that are temporary, but are we willing to make an everlasting commitment to something that is everlasting? Who wouldn’t want to do that?
