Below is a link to a short five minute video that my sister shared with me. I had seen it before, but I would recommend you to watch it...it is really good!

Verses of the day:
Psalm 72:18 “Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.”
I liked this verse, because it points out that God “alone does marvelous deeds.” Whenever we are able to accomplish something down on this earth, we need to be quick to recognize, that it is the Lord who allowed us to accomplish it. It reminds me of some words to a song that I love, “Not to us, but to your name be the glory”!!
Proverbs 17:17 “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”
This is a great verse! A true friend “loves at all times”. We were all born into a world full of sin. Naturally, we all sin daily. I like this verse, because it points out that a friend loves at ALL times. A friend loves when their friend makes a mistake…a friend is to love at ALL times!! The verse goes on to talk about how adversity. A perfect example of this verse can be found in my siblings. I was blessed with 2 wonderful sisters (I am a triplet), and an amazing brother! I know that there have been times that they have had to forgive me and vice versa. There have also been times where one of us, or all of us, are going through a trial of some kind. The thing I love about my family though, is that they stuck with me through the thick and the thin!
James 4:6-8a “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come hear to you.”
How many times when something is going right, do we try to think we have everything under control. The reality of it is, whether things are going good or bad, we should always be praising the Lord! If we truly submit ourself to the Lord, He will help us to stay humble. Without the Lord, we are not able to resist the devil. The devil is very deceitful, so we need to be on guard at all times!! God promises that he will come near to us if we come near to him. You think about a healthy relationship…it requires effort, work, sacrifice, forgiveness, etc. We need to make sure that we are giving of ourselves to the Lord. He has already promised to give us forgiveness of our sins, if we come to Him and ask J AMAZING!
James 4:10 “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.”
The Lord promises to lift us up if we humble ourselves. Now, of course to be humble is not always easy. We need to always look to Jesus…He is the perfect example!
God bless!
