Psalm 106:43 “Many times he delivered them, but they were bent on rebellion and they wasted away in their sin.”
This whole chapter talks about the rebellion of the Israelites. Many times the Lord delivered them from their trouble, only for them to soon forget who they were truly serving and sink back into sin. We are guilty at times of the very same thing that the Israelites were guilty of. Jesus wants everyone to come to him, but he is not going to force us. The Lord is ultimately going to allow you and I to make choices. Who are you going to follow…your desired or the Lord?
Proverbs 23:17-18 “Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the Lord. There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.”
Here is another verse about hope…ETERNAL hope not temporary!
Hebrews 7:23-25 “Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; but because Jesus lives forever he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.”
This is a great verse displaying the power of Jesus. I love the part where it says, “…he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he ALWAYS lives to intercede for them”. AMEN!!
