I have about a 4 hour layover in Istanbul, and then I will be flying to Samsun around 8:30 p.m. tonight. That will put me into Samsun around 10:15 p.m. and get me back to my apartment Lord willing around 11:00 p.m. or a little later - so that will be around 4:00 p.m. EST. The flight over to Turkey went pretty well, thankfully because we were flying through the night I was able to sleep off and on, but I have to say the flight was pretty bumpy, so I was thankful to touch down when we did.
Right now I am chilling at Starbucks in the Istanbul airport. It is nice to have free internet and just be able to chill and relax :) I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend! My sisters head back to Lynchburg today after dropping me off last night at the airport. We went up a few hours early and spent time with Zeb and Amy which was a blast!
I am so thankful for my time at home. I only have about 12 weeks left over here in Turkey, so we are in the home stretch. Our season ends March 30th, so a little earlier this year. On Saturday we will complete the first half of the season officially and start the second half of the season on January 19th, 2013.
Have a great rest of your day!
Time for me to check out my church service back home...so thankful for technology!

January 6th - "Jesus Calling"
I AM ABLE to do far beyond all that you ask or imagine. Come to Me with positive expectations, knowing that there is no limit to what I can accomplish. Ask My Spirit to control your mind, so that you can think great thoughts of Me. Do not be discouraged by the fact that many of your prayers are yet unanswered. Time is a trainer, teaching you to wait upon Me, to trust Me in the dark. The more extreme your circumstances, the more likely you are to see My Power and Glory at work in the situation. Instead of letting difficulties draw you into worrying, try to view them as setting the scene for My glorious intervention. Keep your eyes and your mind wide open to all that I am doing in your life.
"Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think." Ephesians 3:20
“So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.” Romans 8:6
