I stayed up and read some and then actually went back to sleep. Over here, I have been staying up later than I normally would in the States to talk with my family because of the seven hour time difference. Also, we usually have two practices a day (one at 9:30 and the other one at 6:00), which leaves for a lot of down time between practice, so I usually end up taking a nap.
Practice today was light and consisted of lifting and shooting! After practice I skyped with my sisters, brother, and his wife, who happen to ALL be together right now!! I wish I could be with them too, but I realize that I will see them in less than a month :)!!!!!!!!!! Can you tell I am just a little bit excited?
I want to leave you with a verse that I came across today in my reading:
“His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.”
2 Peter 1:3-4
As Thanksgiving approaches, it reminds me of how THANKFUL I am to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for what He has done in my life.
Jesus wants to be the Lord of your life! If we keep our eyes focused on the Lord, we can get through anything that the world throws at us. I could never handle day to day life, without the help of the Lord! Thank you Jesus :)
Lastly, I want to post a joke that I came across and really liked. It is a farm joke, and I was thinking about a farm today because my parents and siblings are all headed to my Grandpa and Grandma McNally's farm today :) Love you Grandpa and Grandma!!!! Can't wait to see you at Christmas!!!
Okay here is the joke:
"A boy that lives on a farm is awakened by his mother early in the morning on the weekend. She tells him he won't get breakfast until he does his chores. One of his chores involves feeding all the animals. While he was feeding the animals he takes out his aggression on some of them. He kicks a chicken, a cow, and a pig. When he finished his chores his mother just gives him a bowl of dry cereal. When he asks why, his mother tells him that he didn't get any milk because he kicked the cow. He didn't get any eggs because he kicked the chicken, and he didn't get any bacon because he kicked the pig. Right then his father comes in and kicks the cat. The boy looks at his mother and says, "Would you like to tell him or should I?"
Hope you liked the joke!! Well, that is all for now!! Have a great day :) Dad, Mom, Zeb, Amy, Molly, and Moriah, I pray that you all have safe travels to Indiana!!! Love you all :)
