I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I sure did, but it went by kind of fast. Today has been a good day. I woke up early and went for a run around the city and then stopped at the grocery store on the way home. Then pretty soon it was time to head to our scrimmage. We scrimmaged another Israeli team and beat them by 20 points. It is so tough sitting on the sideline, but I just have to be patient and realize that my time is coming. The plan is for me to resume practice on Saturday. We have another scrimmage on Thursday and then Friday off, so Saturday I will try to complete the full practice! I am looking forward to getting back out on the court.
This evening I have spent relaxing and actually took a nap. Tonight we have a team thing at a restaurant and apparently all the teams both men's and women's teams will be going to the place. Then, after that my roommate and I are going to run her mom to the airport. So, it will be a late night, but it will be okay.
Tomorrow is a recovery practice since the scrimmage was today, so it will be some exercise as well as some core work. I will head to the gym after to get a cardio workout in. It has been really nice being able to run outside as well since I can't practice!
I wanted to share with you a couple verses from my reading today:
"You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock." Isaiah 26:3-4
Have a great MONDAY!! :)
