Coach gave us today and tomorrow off, since last week was quite a long week. We will play again on Saturday and from here on out will just be playing one game a weekend. It is hard to believe there are only 3 games left in the regular season.
Schedule from here on out:
February 26th: Saturday - Besiktas @ HOME
March 5th: Saurday - Kayseri @ Home
March 11-13: Turkish Cup - Single elimination tournament of the teams who finished in the top 8 the first half of the season. The tournament will be played in Gazientep, Turkey.
March 20th: Sunday - @ Fenerbahce - LAST Regular Season game
*Playoffs will then start around March 23rd or 24th!! We have qualified for playoffs, it will just be a matter of what seed we get going into the playoffs.
Well, I plan on enjoying these next two days off. I will be cleaning and getting ready for my sisters arrival on Wednesday, I am so excited to have them visiting :). I will also be relaxing and listening to some messages online. I miss my church back in Virginia, but thank the Lord for technology.
I hope you all are able to get out and go to church today! It is a blessing to be able to do so :)
P.S. Here is a link to some pictures I took in Burhaniye:

Learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed.— Isaiah 1:17 (NIV)
Thoughts on Today's Verse...We find it easy to be incensed when wrong is done to a friend. We are ready to fight injustice when someone we love has been wronged. However, God reminds us that our worship means little if we do not also protect those who are weak, marginalized, oppressed, and forgotten. It's not just our friends who need our help; it's also those who have no friends who need us. "To do right" doesn't just mean being a good person and avoiding evil in our sanctified little enclaves; it also means to care, comfort, and encourage those no one else wants to notice.
My Utmost For His Highest:
If we are quietly waiting before God after He has said to us, “Come aside by yourselves . . .” then that is meditation before Him to seek His will (Mark 6:31). Beware, however, of giving in to mere daydreaming once God has spoken. Allow Him to be the source of all your dreams, joys, and delights, and be careful to go and obey what He has said. If you are in love with someone, you don’t sit and daydream about that person all the time— you go and do something for him. That is what Jesus Christ expects us to do. Daydreaming after God has spoken is an indication that we do not trust Him.
Our Daily Bread:
By focusing on the externals of worship, we too miss the point: The Lord is interested in a sacrifice of the heart, an internal attitude of submission and thanksgiving. The goal of worship is nothing less than to meet and please our God.
Lord, may our worship and our praise,
From hearts surrendered to Your ways,
Be worthy offerings of love
For all Your blessings from above. —Sper
At the heart of worship is worship from the heart.
