It is crazy that the month of November is almost gone!
Today was a great day :) We had 2 practices today, so I didn't do too much besides practice and rest. I listen to KLOVE on the radio through itunes and have been thoroughly enjoying the Christmas music that is sprinkled in there!
Tomorrow we head to Salamanca, Spain. I hope to take some pictures while there. This will be another new country for me to experience :). I am not sure if we will have internet, so if we don't, I wanted to let you know that we will be playing Salamanca on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. which is 2:30 p.m. EST.
We will fly tomorrow to Salamanca on the jet, so it will be a direct flight besides having a quick layover in Geneva to fill up on gas. We should get into Spain around 4:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. I think flight time will be 5 or 6 hours.
I just got done talking to my sisters and Gpa and Gma McNally - SO FUN!! What a beautiful blessing technology is :) I love you!! Look forward to seeing you all when I come home for the Holidays!!
Verse of the Day:
Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe.— Philippians 2:14-15
Thoughts on Today's Verse..."Don't complain or argue!" We don't normally associate these things with purity and blamelessness. Paul was extraordinarily close to the Philippians and knew them well. He knew their weaknesses and shortcomings. He also knew the destructive power that complaining and arguing have on the life of an otherwise vibrant community of Christians. Let's heed his warning today, as we see church after church taken under by the negative and cynical spirit that pervades modern culture.
My Utmost For His Highest:
“We have to realize that we cannot earn or win anything from God through our own efforts. We must either receive it as a gift or do without it.”
This is so TRUE!! We deserve nothing, but we have the opportunity to gain everything when we fully surrender to the Lord. If you ask me, there isn’t a better deal possible.
