Today was another busy day, but a great day! I started out the day with physical therapy. Therapy went great today. I then took the tram and headed into the city to get a quick bike workout in and some lifting with a teammate. We had practice at 2:00 p.m. today, so it was nice to finish up earlier in the day and have the evening to chill. I have some good news - I was able to practice in most of the practice today!! Thankful to the Lord for allowing my foot to heal as much as it has so far.
The pain in the foot continues to be minimal so I am thankful!! :)Still want to be smart about things. Not sure if I will play this weekend or not. We will see how my foot feels, and whether or not coach will decide to play me or not.
So time to start the countdown ;) I was so happy when coach told us today we could go home for a week :)!!! Wahoo!!!!!! If all goes well, I will leave to go home December 30th and then leave from the States to come back on December 5th. We play in Istanbul on December 29th, so I can fly out the next day for HOME!!
After practice, I went into town with Andja and her husband and we got dinner and walked around for a bit, and then we went to this bazaar which pretty much sells fake stuff ha but it was pretty cool. We then took the tram back and stopped at a grocery store, and then came home.
Tomorrow I have therapy again, then I will workout - lifting some, and then I will head into town and do shooting again with Asli (my teammate) and then practice again is the plan. Tomorrow our practice is at 4:00 p.m. SO far my foot is responding well. I would appreciate your continued prayers as I continue to rehab my foot and come back from fracturing my foot.
Have a great rest of your day! I am also keeping everyone who may be in harms way from the storm on the East Coast in the States!

October 30th - Jesus Calling
I AM WITH YOU. I am with you. I am with you. Heaven’s bells continually peal with that promise of My Presence. Some people never hear those bells because their minds are earthbound and their hearts are closed to Me. Others hear the bells only once or twice in their lifetimes, in rare moments of seeking Me above all else. My desire is that My “sheep” hear My voice continually, for I am the ever-present Shepherd.
Quietness is the classroom where you learn to hear My voice. Beginners need a quiet place in order to still their minds. As you advance in this discipline, you gradually learn to carry the stillness with you wherever you go. When you step back into the mainstream of life, strain to hear those glorious bells: I am with you. I am with you. I am with you.
