We had a team meeting before the game and talked about where our team is at. We have only won two games, so we are at risk of moving down to the second division next year. The coach told us that from here on out anything could happen...meaning they can get rid of people and bring other girls in etc., etc.
Today was Gorkem's birthday. She is one of the Turkish girls on my team who is married. She is a very sweet girl! For dinner we went out to eat at Cepa. Cepa is a mall that I had never been to, but it is really nice! I will definitely be going to Cepa some more :). When I got back from the mall I quickly made some no bake cookies for the road trip tomorrow. Peanut butter is a rarity over here, so I know the girls will love the cookies!
Tomorrow we leave at 10:00 a.m. to head to Kocaeli which is on the outskirts of Istanbul.
Hope you all have a great night! I am going to finish reading "Playing for Pizza, by John Grisham. It is my first book that I have read of him...it is pretty good!
Proverbs 15:33 “The fear of the Lord teaches a man wisdom, and humility comes before honor.”
Shout out to the Cline family!! My sisters are having a blast :) Wish I could have come...hopefully sometime I can!
God bless!
