How is everyone doing? It has been a few days since I last posted.
Last night was an awesome time of worship at Liberty University! It has been Spiritual Emphasis Week at Liberty University. Clayton King has been speaking this year and he did a series called “WHO WE ARE”. I am so thankful I had the opportunity to attend some of the messages this year.
We sang a song “You’re Beautiful” by Phil Wickham. It really stuck out to me!
LYRICS:
I see Your face in every sunrise
The colors of the morning are inside Your eyes
The world awakens in the light of the day
I look up to the sky and say
You're beautiful
I see Your power in the moonlit night
Where planets are in motion and galaxies are bright
We are amazed in the light of the stars
It's all proclaiming who you are
You're beautiful
I see you there hanging on a tree
You bled and then you died and then you rose again for me
Now you are sitting on Your heavenly throne
Soon we will be coming home
You're beautiful
When we arrive at eternity's shore
Where death is just a memory and tears are no more
We'll enter in as the wedding bells ring
Your bride will come together and we'll sing
You're beautiful
I see Your face, I see Your face, I see Your face
You're beautiful, You're beautiful, You're beautiful
LISTEN TO THE SONG BELOW:
I love this verse:
Ecclesiastes 3:11 – “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”
Isn’t this just awesome? “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” Do you feel like you may be going through an “ugly” time in your life right now? Maybe you lost a job, or got sick, maybe your parents divorced, or you are transitioning from one job to the next, maybe you don’t know if you will have enough money to pay the bills from month to month. Wherever you may find yourself, I challenge you to look up to the One who promises to make EVERYTHING beautiful. Think about when you get a new pair of shoes. The first few times you wear them, they may look really awesome. But what happens over time? Over time, the once “beautiful shoes” become dirty. The neat thing about the Lord is, He will always remain “BEAUTIFUL”!! He wants you and me to yearn for Him and establish a relationship with Him. True beauty is determined by a person’s heart, not by the outward appearance.
I challenge you as you look for your future mate and even close friends…look at their heart! God looks at each and every one of our hearts…He sees the good, the bad, and the ugly. What does He see when He looks in your heart and life? It is so important that you surround yourself with people who will build you up. As iron sharpens iron, so we must sharpen and encourage those around us. Don’t get in a haste to make friends or to find your “future mate”. In God’s perfect timing “He has made everything beautiful”. He will bring the right people in your life J!! This is where TRUST comes into play. Trust is something that we all must strive to develop and maintain. Trust is not easy though to practice, but the perfect example we have to follow is Jesus. He trusted His Heavenly Father to send Him down to this earth, all along knowing that He would end up dying for you and for me. WOW!!
If you find yourself being tossed around in a sea of “doubts”, I encourage you to figure out who or what you are turning to! Are you turning to drugs, alcohol, relationships, you name it, just to temporarily relieve you of your misery? The only way we can truly be set free of doubt is to take the focus off of ourselves, and those around us, and look up to the Lord!!
Where is true beauty found? The HEART!

What we do flows out of who we are!
The way we treat people is ho we represent Jesus.
"God didn't save us to sit around, he saved us to send us."
"Our job is not to save people...our job it to go!"
1. We are on a mission.
1 John 3:23
-Love one another
-Love starts where you are. Your mission field is where you are.

-God has something He wants to accomplish.
2. Our Messiah was a missionary
Matthew 9:10-13
-Jesus was sent so that the outsiders could become insiders.
-With Jesus, people always come first.
3. The world is waiting!
