I hope you all are having a great week. Botas (a petrol company) is an interesting place! It is a strategic point in the world for oil. WOW!! It is almost like a mini city inside of gates. The security is pretty high around here. I don't have internet in the building where I am staying, but was able to go to another building and get on.
Tomorrow morning we head out to Gazientep. We practice in the afternoon and then will play Saturday.
God bless,
Megan

God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.— Acts 2:36 (NIV)
Thoughts on Today's Verse...More than titles, these two names of Jesus are the pillars around which we can build our new lives in God's Kingdom. Jesus is Lord! He is our Ruler and King. He is our Master and Teacher. Our hearts are yielded to his will and open to his leading. We hold no rival to Jesus in our hearts and lives. Jesus is the Christ! He is the Messiah, the promised Savior of the Old Testament. He is the one of whom the prophets spoke. Ruler and Savior, Master and Messiah, Jesus is God's gift to bring us home. Jesus is the one who went to the Cross to bring us forgiveness, redemption, and salvation. The Crucified One is both Lord and Christ.
My Utmost For His Highest:
Allow God to have complete liberty in your life when you speak. Before God’s message can liberate other people, His liberation must first be real in you. Gather your material carefully, and then allow God to “set your words on fire” for His glory.
Our Daily Bread:
God cares for you and wants to hear from you. Whether you follow the 5-minute rule asking for blessings on the day, or need to spend more time crying out to Him in deep distress, talk to the Lord each day. Your example may have a big impact on your family or someone close to you.
The issue isn’t how much time
We spend with God in prayer,
But seeking Him throughout each day
And knowing that He’s there. —Sper
Prayer is an acknowledgment of our need for God.
