I posted a few pics at the top from the Fenerbahce game.
This afternoon I was able to relax a little bit, before heading off to evening practice. Practice went well tonight. Tomorrow we practice at 11:00 a.m. and then we have the rest of the day off to relax and rest up. We play on Sunday now instead of Saturday. Where we will be playing is about 2 hours from Polkowice, so we will drive the day of the game. It will be nice to not have to spend the night in a hotel.
Well, I think I am going to call it a night here in a little bit. Super pumped to be welcoming a visitor from the USA on Sunday :)!!!! I hope you have a safe trip Britt!
God bless you all! I am hoping you all take time to enjoy your weekend ahead :)
VERSE OF THE DAY:
Proverbs 25:28
“A person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls.”
Self-control is not always easy to practice, but it is important that we do. The Lord can help us to stay even keel no matter what challenges or trials we may face.
My Utmost For His Highest:
“It is ingrained in us that we have to do exceptional things for God—but we do not. We have to be exceptional in the ordinary things of life, and holy on the ordinary streets, among ordinary people—and this is not learned in five minutes.”
This is great! It is important that we do the ordinary things. When the Lord sees that we are faithful in the small things, He will then bless us and equip us with greater tasks. It takes diligence and hard work to live every single day for the Lord, but with His help, all things are possible.
