Today we practiced again in the afternoon. After practice I baked some peanut butter cookies and relaxed. We have our last road trip this weekend, and everyone has been asking me to make some cookies, so tomorrow I will finish up baking some oatmeal raisin cookies and also some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.
This evening I went over to a friend's house from church for supper with some of my teammates. We had a great time of fellowship and food. I took some pictures, so I will post the link for you all to check them out:
I also found out today, that I will be flying back into the States next Saturday. I am so excited :) I can now officially start the countdown to home - - - 9 days until I fly home :)
Verses of the day:
Psalm 119:89-93 “Your word, O Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures. Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you. If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction. I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life.”
I love these verses. They remind me of the sovereignty of God and that he always has a perfect plan for each and every one of us. AMEN!!
Proverbs 7:1 “My son, keep my words and store up my commands within you.”
1 John 1:5-7 “God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.”
We are foolish to think that we can get through this life on our own. Ultimately, it is the Lord that will see us through down on this earth; it is His blood, shed for us, that allows us to be FREE and FORGIVEN J.
Have a great rest of the day!! I am headed to bed :)
