Unfortunately we lost by about 20 tonight which was not fun at all. We will play again on Thursday, so a short turnaround which I guess is a good thing. Surprisingly they gave us off tomorrow so we have a morning community activity at a school and then the rest of the day to relax. I will be going to the gym to workout and then getting some extra shots in with Jacqui in the evening.
God bless,
Megan
Reading for the day:
March 24th
Exodus 9/Romans 7
Exodus 9 – Pharaoh continues to have a hard heart despite the numerous plagues the Lord places on the Egyptians. Pharaoh continues to lie despite the circumstances going on around him. When we harden our heart towards God or even to people, that is a dangerous place to be in. The Lord has given us all we have, so why should we try to keep it for ourselves. The beauty of being a Christian is the community that comes with people striving to honor and please the Lord…selfish desires then get pushed to the wayside and a sense of camaraderie is formed.
Romans 7 – Because we are humans and carnal we are constantly going to feel the pull of sin, but by God’s grace and with His help we can withstand the temptations of sin and strive to live a pure and blameless life, ultimately striving to honor and glorify the Lord. Sure, we are going to make mistakes, but we must not dwell or live in sin, but rather overcome it with God’s help.
