I am happy to report we got our first win of the season!! It was a bit ugly with fouls and stuff like that, but thankfully no one got hurt and we came away with the "W". Honestly it was a close game the entire time, but in the end of the 4th quarter we walked away with the WIN!!! To God be the glory :)
As you can see from the picture above, we played in pink uniforms in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I have to say it was the first time I have played in a pink uniform :)!! Tomorrow we have a recovery practice in the morning and then I have therapy on my finger and then the rest of the day is off. I am thankful to the Lord He allowed my finger to be okay throughout the game...it is sore, but it is okay.
I wanted to share with you something I read earlier today:
"DO NOT EXPECT to be treated fairly in this life. People will say and do hurtful things to you, things that you don't deserve. When someone mistreats you, try to view it as an opportunity to grow in grace. See how quickly you can forgive the one who has wounded you. Don't be concerned about setting the record straight. Instead of obsessing about other people's opinions of you, keep your focus on Me. Ultimately, it is My view of you that counts." JESUS CALLING
God bless,
Megan
