Reading for today:

Exodus 12/Romans 10
Exodus 12 – The first Passover comes to pass and the Lord saves all of the Israelites and “passes over” them, but he does kill every firstborn of the Egyptians. When Pharaoh realizes his son is dead, he orders Moses and Aaron to take the Israelites and leave the country. Amazing that it finally had to come to the death of his son, before Pharaoh finally listened and his heart was softened. God chooses to get our attention in different ways; may we be every mindful of listening to Him and seeking His face with open hearts and open hands.
Romans 10 – I love this chapter! Jesus makes it clear here that salvation is for everyone! We cannot earn our salvation, but rather we can accept it as a free gift. What a privilege and honor we have to do just that.
