Today was a great day! I went to my General Manager's son's soccer game this morning. He did really well and was able to score at least 4 goals that I saw. Then from there I went and did some grocery shopping, and then I went and got some therapy on my finger. I got good news today....I now can play without buddy taping my finger and am now down to just taping my pinky by itsel :) Woo hoo!!!
This afternoon I cut up veggies, cooked some chicken, and cooked some rice, because I invited one of my teammates over for dinner. She wanted to learn how to make the chinese rice dish that I do, so I told her to just come on over and I would show her. As I was cutting up one of the peppers for the dish, this is what I found:
“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!” (1 John 3:1). --"The wonder of it all— just to think that Jesus loves me." ODB
Practice went well tonight. We went over the game plan for tomorrow and did some shooting. For dinner I fixed (along with my teammate) the chinese stir fry which basically has chicken, veggies, and rice. I have posted a picture before on the blog before, so I won't post another one. But a new picture I did want to post is from the dessert that I made for after the meal. I made a strawberry shortcake homemade and then cut up some fresh strawberries and added some cool whip :) SO GOOD!! It is strawberry season right now, and I have to say the strawberries taste wonderful!!!
Let's go Ramat Hasharon!!!!
Last but not least as we have entered into the month of December, I wanted to share a really neat rendition of the song "Little Drummer Boy". ENJOY!!
God bless,
Megan
