When the Lord allows us to see Him at work, it is pretty awesome! I am so thankful that the Lord has allowed me to connect with a church here in Poland. It is so awesome to see people on fire for the Lord and see them being willing to be used by Him. What a humbling experience to be a part of!
The message today was about "The Calling of Jesus". Jesus calls each of us! My calling may look different than your calling, but ultimately our goal is to bring honor and glory to the Lord through His calling on our lives. What has the Lord called you to do?
A verse I want to share with you all is:
Romans 12:12-13"Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality."
These verses really stuck out to me! I heard them in today's message. We are instructed to be patient and to pray! How easy is it at times to be patient? I can say, it isn't always easy, but I am thankful for this reminder. Also we are instructed to practice helping others.
3 P's:
1. Patience
2. Prayer
3. Practice
The three areas above are things we can deliberately choose to focus on. Am I being patient? Am I praying consistently? Am I practicing loving others and helping those in need? The Lord exemplifies all three of these.
Well, I hope everyone has a great week ahead! We have a Euroleague game on Wednesday. It is back to the practice floor tomorrow :)
I also need to get the link from my sister to the pictures tomorrow. Her and Molly have been going to bed pretty early over here because of the time change.
Have a great week ahead!
