I slept in this morning which was nice and then I am going to do some cleaning and relaxing before heading to practice. We have a late practice today since we are welcoming back the 3 girls who have been gone for the past week and a half training with their National Teams. Please be in prayer that we could continue to mesh and gel as a team as we play another game on Sunday. We have had a lot of transitions and changes, but I am praying that we can rise above everything with God's help and be able to compete and start winning some games if that is His will.
I wanted to take the time and say thank you to some people in my life. First and foremost I want to say thank you to my Lord and Savior...without Him I am nothing. Lord, thank you for loving me unconditionally and thank you for your death on the cross, by which you gave me the opportunity, and everyone else, to have our sins forgiven and spend eternity with you. I also want to thank the Lord for my family. My family is amazing and I am so thankful for the examples of my parents and grandparents who have showed me what it truly means to follow and seek after Christ. I thank my parents for the countless sacrifices of money and time to make sure that I along with my siblings were properly cared for. Most importantly though I thank my parents for the amazing example they have been to me. To see their dedication in honoring and serving the Lord has been amazing for me to see. I also am thankful for wonderful siblings. I have the best sisters and brother anyone could ever ask for as well as a sister in law and nephew. I miss you all, but know that you are all in my heart.
I also want to take the time and thank the Lord for my husband Caleb. It has been difficult being apart from him, but I am so thankful that with technology we can stay in touch and still communicate which is so nice. He is super supportive and always encourages me to pursue my dreams. Thank you for your love and thank you Lord for bringing our lives together.
Last but not least I want to thank the Lord for my friends. He has blessed me with some incredible people in my life. It would be dangerous for me if I started rattling off names because I know I would miss some people, so just know that you all have impacted my life greatly and I thank you for that.
Enjoy today. Be thankful. Rejoice in God's goodness. Laugh. Show Jesus.
I love you all and hope you have a great day full of food, fellowship, and family.
God bless,
Megan
