Today has been a good day, but kind of busy one. I slept in again today which is becoming a routine. After sleeping in, I chilled for a little bit and then headed to lifting which was at 1:00 p.m. After lifting we went straight to shooting. This evening I came back to my apartment and chilled some with Juliana and then we headed to a pide (kind of like a pizza) place to get some food for Juliana's last meal in Turkey. Juliana heads out early in the morning to head back to the States. It has been great having here here! I actually leave tonight to drive to Istanbul with the team, so it is going to be a long night. We have about an 11 hour or so bus ride ahead of us.
When we get to Istanbul tomorrow morning we are going to eat breakfast, probably nap some, and then we are going to head to practice and do some shooting. We play against Galatasaray on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. which is 7:30 a.m. EST. I will try to post the link for the game tomorrow on my blog, because I think it is online.
I am just relaxing for a few more hours and then I am headed out. I helped Juliana pack and I packed for my trip. Juliana will be in my apartment for a few hours without me since I will be gone, and then she starts her trek home.
January 24th - "Jesus Calling"
MY PEACE is the treasure of treasures: the pearl of great price. It is an exquisitely costly gift, both for the Giver and the receiver. I purchased this Peace for you with My blood. You receive this gift by trusting Me in the midst of life’s storms. If you have the world’s peace—everything going your way--you don’t seek My unfathomable Peace. Thank Me when things do not go your way, because spiritual blessings come wrapped in trials. Adverse circumstances are normal in a fallen world. Expect them each day. Rejoice in the face of hardship, for I have overcome the world.
John 16:33 - I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
