Today we had off which was really nice! I decided to take the day completely off from physical exercise and enjoy the day. I slept in a little bit and then headed out to run a few errands with my teammate since everything shuts down this afternoon and then through tomorrow as well. We stocked up on a few groceries and then went to check out a famous breakfast food place along the water. Above is a picture of what I got for my "brunch"...it was so so so good!!!
I decided to make some chocolate chip cookies for my teammates this evening to take to practice tomorrow. We have practice tomorrow evening and tomorrow is when I start back to practicing! I am excited to get back out on the court and praying to have a minimal amount of pain when getting back out there. I can tell my finger is feeling a lot better within the last few days and for that I am so thankful!
Thank you so much for all of you who are praying for me...means a lot!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend ahead :) And I hope all of you attending Liberty University's Homecoming Weekend have an absolute blast!!!
Below are a few pictures of the finished product from my cookie baking!
I wanted to share this quote with you all that I read today:
"Joy isn’t ever in a season, but in the way we see."
God bless,
Megan
