Today has been a great off day! I started out the day getting breakfast with one of my teammates. I got a traditional Israel breakfast which is pictured in the picture above the cookies. I then went to the beach for awhile which was nice and just relaxed some.
This afternoon I came home and made some cookies to take over to a teammate's house for dessert after dinner. I am not eating sweets this month, but I have to say they looked good enough to eat. My teammate made a great dinner of honey chicken and vegetables.
The time changed last night here, so we are back to a 7 hour time difference from the East Coast. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend ahead! It is back to the practice floor tomorrow for us! Our next game is on Monday!
God bless,
Megan

Reading for the day:
March 28th
Exodus 13/Romans 11
Exodus 13 – Really neat that God led the Israelites on a detour to the Promised Land. He knew that if Pharaoh decided to come after them, that they needed to take the detour. I am sure some of the Israelites were probably wondering why they needed to travel a farther distance rather than taking the shorter route, but it was in God’s perfect plan to do just that. What a great reminder to me that there are times where God will take us on a detour…we must not grumble, lost faith, or give up, but rather trust the Lord that He knows what is best.
Romans 11 – What a neat word picture in this chapter…talking about how we can be grafted into God’s family when we accept Him into our heart and lives…I love that!
