After listening to the message, I baked some cookies for my teammates. I also packed up my stuff to take back to the States. We leave tomorrow night for a 10-12 hour bus ride to Adana Turkey and will not be coming back to Samsun until after the New Year. This evening I went to Mado (kind of like Starbucks) with Tanja and Nina (a new teammate). We had a lot of fun just chilling and hanging out. I got a chicken caesar salad and some salep. Salep is a hot milk drink and you put nuts and stuff in it - yummy!!
Well, tomorrow we have practice in the afternoon and then we head out for Adana. I plan on getting a few things from the store to take back to my family to sample...different chocolates and stuff.
CRAZY the time is so close to going home!! I am looking forward to a little break :)!
Schedule for the remainder of 2012:

December 23rd - "Jesus Calling"
I AM KING OF KINGS and Lord of lords, dwelling in dazzlingly bright Light! I am also your Shepherd, Companion, and Friend – the One who never lets go of your hand. Worship Me in My holy Majesty; come close to me, and rest in My Presence. You need Me both as God and as Man. Only My Incarnation on that first, long-ago Christmas could fulfill your neediness. Since I went to such extreme measures to save you from your sins, you can be assured that I will graciously give you all you need.
Nurture well your trust in Me as Savior, Lord, and Friend. I have held back nothing in My provision for you. I have even deigned to live within you! Rejoice in all that I have done for you, and My Light will shine through you into the world.
"Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care." Psalm 95:6-7
I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of their day today and an awesome Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!
7 days.......
God bless,
Megan
