Practice went well tonight. After practice we watched film on Istanbul University who we will be playing on Saturday.
This evening I went to Burger King and got a caramel sundae...so good :) Have to splurge every once in awhile right?
I wanted to pass a link on to you that my agent sent me. Apparently I got player of the week on the Eurobasket website, so I thought I would pass it along:

Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.— Romans 13:1 (NIV)
Thoughts on Today's Verse...Yes, there are things we don't like about our government. But God has truly blessed most of us so we can enjoy the protection of the authorities where we live. But we also live in the time of some of the greatest persecution ever known in the Christian era. So, as we pray for our leaders and thank God for our freedoms, let's not forget the persecuted church all over the world.
My Utmost For His Highest:
The one point to decide is— will I give up? Will I surrender to Jesus Christ, placing no conditions whatsoever as to how the brokenness will come? I must be broken from my own understanding of myself. When I reach that point, immediately the reality of the supernatural identification with Jesus Christ takes place. And the witness of the Spirit of God is unmistakable— “I have been crucified with Christ . . . .”
The passion of Christianity comes from deliberately signing away my own rights and becoming a bondservant of Jesus Christ.
Our Daily Bread:
Whether He has brought us blessing or trial, God still deserves our gratitude and trust.
I can always count on God, my heavenly Father,
For He changes not; He always is the same;
Yesterday, today, forever, He is faithful,
And I know He loves me, praise His holy name. —Felten
In good times and bad, our greatest need is God.
